In 2019 I wrote a blog post for Saskatoon Weight Attitudes and Disordered Eating (SWADE) titled Eating Disorders/Disordered Eating Isn’t the Problem, It’s the Coping Strategy. In it I state, “An eating disorder will, in my opinion, never be given up as long as it is serving the need of the individual living with it.”
